Privacy Notice

Last updated: 1 November 2026. This notice covers the Rowbeam waitlist on this website. The Rowbeam app will have its own privacy policy.

Who we are

Rowbeam is built by Berk Acar, an individual developer based in Türkiye, who is the data controller. Contact: rowbeam@berkacar.dev.

What we collect

Only what you give us when you join the waitlist: your email address, the time you signed up and confirmed, and which link or page version brought you here (for example “reddit” or “tiktok”). We do not use cookies or tracking pixels. Visitor statistics come from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not identify you.

Why, and on what basis

To email you when Rowbeam launches and to send occasional beta invites. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); KVKK Art. 5(1)/explicit consent). You can withdraw it at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us.

Who processes it

Kit (ConvertKit LLC, USA) stores the waitlist and sends the emails. Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) hosts this website. Both may process data in the United States. Fonts are served by Bunny Fonts (BunnyWay d.o.o., Slovenia, EU), which does not log or store visitor IP addresses. These transfers rely on the processors’ Standard Contractual Clauses or EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework commitments.

How long

Until 12 months after the iPhone launch, or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first. Then your email is deleted.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, and you can object or withdraw consent. Email rowbeam@berkacar.dev. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority (in Türkiye: KVKK, the Personal Data Protection Authority; in the EU/UK: your local supervisory authority).
